Came across an issue with Sage V22 after a recent powercut at a clients office. Sage would display their splash screen then disappear not showing the companies to select screen.
We tried everything in this article https://my.sage.co.uk/public/help/askarticle.aspx?articleid=17559
.net, uninstalling SBDDesktopUpdateInstaller.msi, reinstalling Sage V22 from scratch nothing seemed to fix it.
Then we renamed the sage.usr file (C:\ProgramData\Sage\Accounts\[year]) which is used to register the software (you will need serial number and activation code) Once we put in their details it finally got past the splash screen Success!
